Perched up on a hill, the home offers seasonal views of Higgins Lake through the trees. After enjoying the lake during the day, return to your private oasis to unwind and relax. The large 500-foot wraparound deck includes an outdoor shower, which is perfect for rinsing off after a long day at the beach. Have a barbeque on the Weber grill, and never worry about running out of gas since the grill is connected directly to the gas line! Utilize the spacious kitchen with a gas stove, granite countertops, cutlery, pots/pans and everything else needed to cook a delicious meal. Enjoy a cocktail at the outdoor picnic table or in the cozy wicker egg chair. Gather around the firepit area with complimentary firewood and kick back in the Adirondack chairs, make some s’mores, and rehash the day. Finally, step into the new 6-person Viking hot tub overlooking the beautiful nature preserve adjacent to the home. Keep an eye out for the resident deer and a variety of other wildlife that roam the property, including an eastern screech owl (lovingly nicknamed “Wink”) that loves to hoot on occasion! On the interior of the home, enjoy the modern design and open concept layout. The high ceilings and large windows provide gorgeous views of the wooded landscape that surrounds the property. Curl up in front of the electric fireplace and watch a movie on the 55” Roku TV, play board games, listen to records on the turntable, or play music through your phone. Need to wash some towels or clothes? No problem! The LG full-size front load washer and dryer are available for your use with laundry detergent included! At the end of the day, retreat to two spacious bedrooms which include queen beds with super comfortable hybrid memory foam/coil mattresses. Both bedrooms have a combined 8 windows that let in tons of natural light! Don’t worry, each window has an optional shade in case you like to sleep in. The primary bedroom includes a full-size closet with plenty of room for your clothes and travel items. It also includes a Roku television and full-size mirror. The second bedroom includes two stacked twin mattresses (linens provided) that can be slept on as-is, or feel free to move them to your preferred location in the house. Each bedroom is also equipped with a charging station, so there are plenty of outlets for all your devices. The home has 1 full bathroom with ample counter and cabinet space. The shower has great pressure and don’t worry about running out of hot water due to the on-demand water tank! The Modern Moose was designed with the guest experience at the forefront.
